Welcome to the 2010 Season

Senior Hockey starts on the weekend of 12th April for Prem 1 Men and Women, and 3/4 May for all other senior grades.

Season Start Dates Are:

NO PLAY Queens Birthday Weekend - 4-6 June 2010

You can register by printing and completing the registration form (PDF20kb) and posting as directed.

Fees

The fees remain unchanged from last year:

• Premier 1 - $425.00
• Premier 2 - $400.00
• Championship - $380.00

Fees are required to be paid in full by the third playing weekend of the season being 15th May 2010. There will be a "no pay, no play" policy strictly enforced in 2010 to prevent the non-payment of fees. Once you have made the decision to play you are committed to paying the playing fees when they fall due. Please contact your team manager at teh beginning of the season if you wish to discuss payment arrangements.

Uniform/Equipment

The club provides the uniforms for all teams, with the exception of socks. The uniforms are gold tops (with blue trim) and blue shorts. Uniforms will be issued on payment of fees. The socks are plain gold and can be purchased from most major sports suppliers.

Each player will need their own hockey stick and they will not be permitted to play unless they have a mouthguard and shin pads. A mouthguard and shin pads must be worn at practice as well.

Training

Training times for the 2010 season are as follows:

The premier 1 and 2 teams will be training at Lloyd Elsmore Park.

Umpiring Roster

Each week the Auckland Umpires Association provides umpires for the Premier grades (and sometimes Champ 1). The club has to provide umpires for our own Champ teams and for the youth grades. A roster will be organised for the Prem 1 and Prem 2 players and everyone will be required to umpire a game at least once during the season.
